Hmcomm Ups Mid-Year Forecast, Eyes Strong Second-Half Growth
TOKYO, Jul 21 (Pulse News Wire) – Hmcomm Inc. (265A.T) revised upward its mid-year forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026, citing significant improvements in operating efficiency driven by advanced AI technologies.
The company reported a shift towards higher profitability, with revenue projected at ¥624 million (up ¥12 million from previous estimates) and a substantial increase in ordinary profit from a deficit of -¥40 million to a surplus of ¥5 million. This improvement was attributed to three key initiatives: the deployment of the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) model, the implementation of FD-X, an integrated development environment, and the advancement of NaNa, an AI-driven administrative system. These efforts led to a reduction in production costs and operational expenses, resulting in a more sustainable high-profit margin structure.
Looking ahead, Hmcomm expects continued growth in its strategic areas such as voice AI, generative AI, and infrastructure maintenance solutions. The company plans to leverage its Voice AI Agent Platform to expand into recurring revenue streams, aiming to maintain strong profitability while investing in future innovations and potential mergers and acquisitions. Chairman and CEO Mitsuomi Sakae emphasized the importance of sustaining this momentum through ongoing process optimization and innovation, positioning Hmcomm for sustained value creation and shareholder returns.
