TOKYO, Jul 08 (Pulse News Wire) – Hmcomm Inc. (265A.T) reported progress in integrating its subsidiary, Collaborate Tech Co., Ltd., focusing on establishing an AI-driven development model and Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) framework.
As of May 11, foundational work across organizational, developmental, sales, and implementation aspects was completed, transitioning the synergy creation process from joint proposals to individual case management and revenue generation in the upcoming fiscal half. Key integration milestones include the establishment of a unified development flow, initiation of customer project collaboration, and cross-group technical and sales coordination. Specific synergies underway involve re-skilling 32 engineers through AI and generative AI training, engaging ten clients in joint proposals, and managing six pipeline projects focused on AI product enhancements and FDE model readiness. Additionally, Hmcomm began implementing AI-powered CMS solutions for major home equipment manufacturers, leveraging Collaborate Tech’s field deployment capabilities.
The company also commenced preparations for AI Business Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) offerings targeted primarily at the finance sector. Looking ahead, Hmcomm anticipates enhanced competitiveness and new business opportunities from strengthened AI products and expects efficiency gains from internalized development processes. The firm plans to incorporate Collaborate Tech's performance into its consolidated earnings starting from the third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026. A detailed impact assessment will be disclosed during the interim earnings report scheduled for August 14.
