Cosmos Initia Completes Share Repurchase Program; Acquires 140,800 Shares
TOKYO, Jul 21 (Pulse News Wire) – Cosmos Initia CO.,LTD. (8844.T) completed its share repurchase program on July 7, acquiring 140,800 shares, representing 0.42% of the outstanding shares excluding treasury stocks.
The total acquisition cost was ¥199.9 million. The repurchase period ran from July 1 to July 7 through open-market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
According to previous resolutions made during the May 20 board meeting, the company aimed to acquire up to 150,000 shares with a total value of up to ¥200 million within the timeframe of June 25 to September 30. As of July 7, Cosmos Initia had cumulatively acquired 140,800 shares with a total expenditure of ¥199.9 million.
The company's representative director, Takashi Arata, stated that the completion of this repurchase aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance shareholder value.
