Cosmos Initia Adds Subsidiary Through Priority Capital Investment

TOKYO, Jun 25 (Pulse News Wire) – Cosmos Initia CO.,LTD. (8844.T) announced that it has decided to invest in CIF1 Specific Purpose Company through priority capital investment, making CIF1 a subsidiary effective June 29, 2026.

The move aims to develop an apartment hotel called “MIMARU” located near Osaka Metro stations. Post-investment, the total capital amount of CIF1 will represent more than 10% of Cosmos Initia’s own capital, qualifying CIF1 as a subsidiary. CIF1's total capital consists of specific capital of ¥100,000 and priority capital of ¥3.800 billion. As of June 29, 2026, Cosmos Initia will hold a priority share ratio of 100% in CIF1.

CIF1 Specific Purpose Company is based in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, with representative Mr. Sanpo Takayuki. Its primary activities involve managing and disposing of specific assets according to asset securitization plans under related laws, along with associated services. CIF1 was established on June 5, 2026.

The impact on Cosmos Initia's consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is expected to be minor.
