Canon Marketing Japan to Buy Back Shares Through ToSTNeT-3
TOKYO, Jul 24 (Pulse News Wire) – Canon Marketing Japan Inc. (8060.T) announced that its board of directors, held on July 24, resolved to repurchase shares based on provisions set forth in the Company Law Article 459, Item 1.
The move aims to enhance shareholder returns and improve capital efficiency. The company plans to execute the buyback through the ToSTNeT-3 system on July 27 at 8:45 AM. The purchase price per share will not exceed July 24, 2026's closing value, which includes final special quotations. The total number of shares to be acquired will not exceed 100,000 (representing 0.05% of outstanding shares excluding treasury stock).
The aggregate amount for the acquisition will not surpass ¥357.4 million. The results of the buyback will be disclosed immediately following the conclusion of trading on July 27 at 8:45 AM. However, due to market conditions, there is a possibility that the entire or part of the intended buyback might not occur. As of June 30, the company had 205,995,575 shares outstanding (excluding treasury stock) and held 16,164,369 treasury shares.
