Canon Marketing Japan Completes Share Repurchase Amid Legal Framework
TOKYO, May 01 (Pulse News Wire) – Canon Marketing Japan Inc. (8060.T) announced today that it completed a share repurchase based on a resolution made during its board meeting held on January 28, 2026.
According to the Corporate Law Article 459, the company purchased a total of 2,471,200 shares within the period from April 01, 2026, to April 30, 2026, through open-market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The total cost of the repurchased shares was ¥8.874 billion. In detail, the initial resolution set a limit of 5,000,000 shares, representing up to 4.66% of the outstanding shares excluding treasury shares.
The upper limit for the purchase price was set at ¥30.00 billion.
