Ubiteq Selects New Board Members for Upcoming Shareholders Meeting

TOKYO, Aug 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Ubiteq,inc. (6662.T) announced today that its board of directors has decided on candidates for the upcoming election scheduled at the 50th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on September 25, 2026.

The formal appointments will take place post-meeting for representatives and during the meeting for regular directors. Current directors Mitsuyoshi Ogawa and others, along with non-executive director Jin Naito, will continue their roles. Additionally, Seigo Ogawa, previously with Orix Corporation, has been newly appointed as a part-time director.

Seigo Ogawa joined Orix in April 2003 and served in various capacities including Deputy Director of Domestic Business Promotion Department since March 2026. His extensive experience in new business development within the Orix Group makes him well-suited to contribute to Ubiteq's IoT solutions and enhance corporate value, according to the board’s assessment. Notably, former part-time director Atsuharu Sato will retire upon the conclusion of the shareholders' meeting due to term expiration.
