Tobila Systems to Acquire ProdiLight Shares, Boost Cloud PBX Collaboration
TOKYO, Jul 14 (Pulse News Wire) – Tobila Systems Inc. (4441.T) announced plans to acquire shares of ProdiLight, aiming to enhance collaboration in cloud PBX services.
At a board meeting held, Tobila decided to purchase ordinary shares of ProdiLight from former executive Yuuya Kawata. The acquisition is part of a strategic capital and business alliance aimed at boosting sales and expanding market share in the cloud PBX sector. Under the agreement, Tobila will leverage ProdiLight's expertise in developing and providing cloud-based communication solutions, such as the "INNOVERA" service, to improve product functionality and customer support. Both companies plan to integrate their knowledge bases, customer networks, and sales channels to drive continuous value enhancement and strengthen their competitive position in the growing cloud PBX market.
ProdiLight, established on June 04, 2008, currently holds a capital of ¥263.5 million. Its recent financial performance shows total assets of ¥1.162 billion as of the fiscal year ending August 2025, with operating profit of ¥178 million and net profit of ¥118 million. The transaction is expected to close within July 2026, with further details to be disclosed upon completion. Tobila anticipates minimal impact on its October 2026 earnings but will promptly update stakeholders if significant changes arise.
