Tacmina Appoints New Auditor for Upcoming Shareholders' Meeting
TOKYO, May 20 (Pulse News Wire) – TACMINA Corporation (6322.T) announced today that its audit committee resolved to appoint a new auditor effective at the upcoming shareholders’ meeting scheduled for June 19, 2026. The resolution was made during a board meeting held, and will be presented for approval at the 50th annual general meeting of shareholders.
The new auditor, Taiyou Certified Public Accountants, will replace Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, which has served since 1995. Taiyou CPA’s appointment follows a comprehensive evaluation by the audit committee, considering factors such as independence, expertise, and quality control systems.
The committee believes the firm's fresh perspective will enhance the auditing process. Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu expressed no particular objections to the change.
The audit committee deemed the decision appropriate based on the tenure of the incumbent auditor and the thorough review of multiple proposals from various accounting firms.
