Systemsoft Corp Acquires Shares in Japan Cloud to Boost Business Strategy

– SystemSoft Corporation (7527.T) announced on July 29 that it had decided to acquire shares in Japan Cloud, a software development firm founded in 1971, through a board resolution dated July 29, 2026. The move aims to strengthen the company's SES and system development businesses.

Japan Cloud, which develops solutions for cloud infrastructure optimization and business efficiency, will now operate as a subsidiary. The acquisition was made possible due to additional funds raised via a third-party allotment capital increase earlier this year. Japan Cloud, headquartered in Tokyo, Taitou Ku Higashiueno2-1-13 East Shimo Ueno Center Building, 7th Floor, has a capital of 1 billion yen and currently employs 25 staff members.

As of April 2026, the company reported total assets of ¥290 million, operating profit of -¥26 million, and net income of -¥23 million. The acquisition cost includes advisory fees totaling approximately ¥27 million. In the coming months, SystemSoft expects the acquisition to contribute positively to its long-term performance.
