TOKYO, Aug 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Sun* INC. (4053.T) announced a delay in submitting its half-year report for the fiscal year ending December 2026, originally scheduled for August 14, 2026.

During cash verification processes conducted since June 2026 and subsequent internal audits, unrecorded cash was discovered at its subsidiary, Sun Asterisk Vietnam Co., Ltd. As a result, the company is conducting additional investigations to verify the factual circumstances and assess the accounting, legal, and tax implications.

The company's auditor advised that further interim review procedures are necessary, making it unlikely to complete the interim review within the statutory deadline. Therefore, the submission of the half-year report on August 14, 2026, is now postponed until further notice.
