Sumitomo Osaka Cement Decides on Additional Share Purchases Under Equity Compensation Plan

TOKYO, Aug 04 (Pulse News Wire) – Sumitomo Osaka Cement CO.,LTD. (5232.T) decided on additional share purchases under its equity compensation plan during a board meeting held on August 04, 2026.

The decision follows the approval of changes to the equity compensation system at the company's 163rd Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on June 25, 2026. Under the revised equity compensation plan, the trustee will acquire additional shares through the purchase of funds entrusted by the company.

The total amount of money to be added to the trust fund is ¥229.6 million. As a result, the trustee will acquire a total of 42,500 ordinary shares on August 19, 2026.
