Seihyo Reports First Quarter Special Loss Due to Equipment Removal
TOKYO, Jul 14 (Pulse News Wire) – Seihyo CO.,LTD. (2872.T) reported a special loss of ¥30 million due to the removal of existing equipment during renovations of packaging lines at its Toyama factory based on its equipment update plan for the fiscal quarter ending May 31, March 01, 2026.
The company disclosed that the special loss was recorded in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027, covering the period from March 1, March 01, 2026 to May 31, March 01, 2026. The loss is categorized as fixed asset disposal losses.
Regarding the impact on performance, SEIHYO stated that this special loss has already been incorporated into their forecasted annual earnings for the fiscal year ending February 2027, which was previously published on April 10, March 01, 2026 in their unaudited interim report.
