SBI Aruhi Posts Q1 IFRS Net Profit Up 28.84%
TOKYO, Jul 30 (Pulse News Wire) – SBI ARUHI Corporation (7198.T) reported a net profit attributable to parent company shareholders of ¥439 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking a 28.84% increase from ¥300 million in the corresponding period last year. Operating revenue rose to ¥5.949 billion from ¥5.470 billion, reflecting a strong performance across key products such as “Flat 35” loans and recurring revenues from insurance-related services and rent guarantee programs.
The company attributed the growth primarily to increased loan execution volumes and higher interest income from real estate collateral loans by subsidiary SBIEstateFinance, alongside robust sales from property disposals by SBI Smile. Despite rising financing costs due to higher borrowing rates, operating expenses grew by ¥5.318 billion compared to the previous year’s 8.8% million, contributing to a pre-tax profit of ¥639 million, up from ¥437 million.
Basic earnings per share for the quarter stood at ¥9 compared to ¥6 in the same period last year. SBI ARUHI plans to disclose final figures on August 10, 2026, noting that preliminary data presented here could differ due to various factors impacting the final results.
