Roland Corp Settles UK Antitrust Lawsuit Without Impact on Forecast

TOKYO, Jul 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Roland Corporation (7944.T) announced that a lawsuit filed against the company and its subsidiary Roland Europe Group Limited (Reading, UK) by Elisabetta Sciallis was dismissed. The plaintiff had sought compensation for purchases made between January 7, 2011, and April 17, 2019, of electronic drum kits and related products.

The case management conference held on December 16, 2022, advanced the proceedings until June 3, 2026, when the plaintiff withdrew the suit. On July 13, 2026, the court accepted the withdrawal, concluding the litigation without significant impact on the group's performance forecasts.

In a separate statement, the company noted that the settlement would not alter its previous earnings outlook.
