Powerx and HiRes Begin Collaboration on GPU Data Center Energy Infrastructure

TOKYO, Jul 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Powerx,inc. (485A.T) and HiRes Co., Ltd., which operates specialized GPU data centers nationwide, have initiated collaboration discussions aimed at optimizing energy infrastructure for GPU data centers and AI computing platforms.

The memorandum was signed. The partnership focuses on two key areas: utilizing battery energy storage systems (BESS) integrated with GPU data centers to optimize power costs and enhance resilience, and expanding cooperation in sales and marketing efforts, joint site development, and investor relations to grow the GPU data center business. HiRes, founded in 2007, provides GPU cloud services such as GPUSOROBAN and has established five data centers across Japan, leveraging idle facilities like former schools.

With a capital of ¥100 million, HiRes promotes environmental sustainability through localized construction methods and contributes to regional economic growth and digital infrastructure development. Powerx,inc. supports AI-era electricity demand through the provision of domestic battery systems, aggregation services, market trading, and retail supply, contributing to the nation's energy security.
