Powerx Launches Grid Connector Series for Faster System Integration

– Powerx, inc. (485A.T) unveiled the Grid Connector series aimed at simplifying system integration for battery energy storage systems (BESS) and AI data centers.

The product integrates power conditioners, transformers, and high-voltage distribution panels into a single factory-assembled unit, reducing installation time and costs. For BESS applications, the Grid Connector for BESS offers two models—2.5MVA and 5MVA—each housed in a 20-foot container. It enhances compatibility with PowerX's Mega Power series and supports up to eight battery containers per unit. Testing begins in late 2026, with mass production slated for the third quarter of 2027.

For AI data centers, the Grid Connector for DC combines power units, battery systems, and cooling solutions into integrated modules, enabling rapid deployment. It includes features such as SiC-based power modules, 10ft Mega Power battery systems, chillers, and UPS capabilities. Prototype testing starts early 2027, followed by mass production readiness and sales launch later in the year. Both products aim to reduce construction complexity and improve cybersecurity through unified control and communication systems.
