Oriental Chain MFG. signs sales agency deal with WETOWN ELECTRIC GROUP CO., LTD. to expand overseas sales

TOKYO, Jul 30 (Pulse News Wire) – Oriental Chain Mfg. CO.,LTD.

(6380.T) signed a sales agency agreement with WETOWN Electric Group Co., Ltd. on July 30, aiming to boost product sales in China and other international markets. Under the agreement, WETOWN will promote Oriental's products, particularly its ultra-small chains, while Oriental will support WETOWN with technical and marketing assistance. Both companies plan to collaborate on joint marketing activities and share market insights to explore growth opportunities in various sectors.

In preparation for increased demand, Oriental has initiated discussions to enhance production capacity and ensure stable supply of ultra-small chains. Specific investment plans, amounts, and timelines are still under consideration and will be disclosed promptly if significant developments arise. The agreement does not significantly impact Oriental’s fiscal year ending March 2027 earnings forecast, which was previously announced on May 14, 2026. However, management expects long-term benefits from expanded overseas sales and customer base development.
