Oriental Chain MFG. TO REVISE FUND ALLOCATION PLAN
TOKYO, Jul 22 (Pulse News Wire) – Oriental Chain Mfg. CO.,LTD.
(6380.T) decided to revise its fund allocation plan during a board meeting held. The company had previously announced plans to allocate funds towards gold bullion, Ethereum (ETH), and publicly traded stocks to support long-term growth in its chain manufacturing and metal injection molding businesses. However, due to uncertainties surrounding geopolitical risks affecting gold and ETH prices, the company now intends to reduce investments in these assets and instead allocate funds towards real estate investment totaling ¥500 million. This shift aims to stabilize revenue streams and direct costs toward exploring new business opportunities, thereby contributing to overall performance maintenance and promoting the expansion of new ventures. As of now, the cumulative amount raised stands at ¥1.206 billion, but purchases of gold and ETH have yet to commence.
Additionally, funds have not been used for purposes outside the originally stated allocations. The revised funding plan includes reducing gold transactions from ¥1.351 billion to ¥1.101 billion, cutting ETH purchases from ¥1.351 billion to ¥1.101 billion, maintaining stock investments at ¥500 million, adding real estate investment of ¥500 million, and keeping contingency funds and operational capital at ¥1.373 billion. Notably, the company has already allocated ¥44 million towards equity investments. Looking ahead, Oriental Chain Mfg. anticipates that the changes will have a minor impact on its consolidated fiscal year 2027 results.
Any significant developments will be promptly disclosed.
