Oncolys Biopharma Secures Medical Insurance Coverage for Telomerisin

TOKYO, Jun 24 (Pulse News Wire) – Oncolys BioPharma Inc. (4588.T) announced that the Central Social Health Insurance Council approved the medical insurance coverage for Telomerisin (development code: OBP-301) as a pharmaceutical product.

The approval was based on the expectation that the drug would achieve therapeutic effects similar to those of existing medications due to its method of use and pharmacological action. Telomerisin, classified as a regenerative medical product under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, will now be treated similarly to pharmaceutical products for medical insurance purposes.
