Oki Electric Industry Company Introduces Employee Stock Incentive Program, Plans Share Disposal

– Oki Electric Industry Company,limited (6703.T) introduced a new employee stock incentive program called the "Stock Grant Trust (J-ESOP)." The board approved the plan during a meeting held on July 30. As part of this initiative, the company also decided to dispose of shares worth ¥71.4 million through a trust arrangement managed by Mizuho Trust Bank and Nomura Trust Bank.

Under the J-ESOP scheme, employees and group company executives who meet certain criteria will receive company shares based on points awarded according to their positions and contributions. The total number of shares to be disposed of is 24,000 ordinary shares, with each share valued at ¥2,976.

The disposal is scheduled for August 17, 2026, and the shares will be transferred to Nomura Trust Bank's Trust E account. This move aims to enhance long-term value creation and align employee interests with shareholder goals.

The company believes this approach will foster greater engagement and commitment among staff towards achieving corporate objectives.
