NSW Reports Revenue Growth Despite Operating Profit Decline in Q2 FY2026
TOKYO, May 11 (Pulse News Wire) – NSW Inc. (9739.T) reported revenue growth of ¥16.349 billion for the quarter ended March 2026, up ¥761 million compared to the same period last year.
However, operating profit declined to ¥5.290 billion, down ¥826 million from the previous year. In detail, the Business Solution segment saw a slight decrease in sales, while Financial and Public Solutions recorded a significant increase. The Embedded Solutions division also experienced a rise in orders but showed a decline in operating profit. Overall, the company's backlog increased slightly to ¥19.810 billion.
Looking ahead, NSW Inc. plans to invest ¥602 million in equipment and incur ¥357 million in depreciation expenses during the fiscal year ending March 2027. Research and development expenditures are projected to reach ¥249 million, marking a substantial increase from the previous year. These figures highlight the mixed performance across various segments, reflecting challenges and opportunities within the broader technology landscape.
