Nisshinbo Holdings Abolishes Shareholder Benefits Program

– Nisshinbo Holdings Inc. (3105.T) announced on June 30 that it has decided to abolish its shareholder benefits program effective as of December 31, 2025.

The decision was made during a board meeting held. The company cited the discontinuation of nonwoven fabric production, which ended with its withdrawal from the nonwoven fabric business in October 2025, as the primary reason for the move. Additionally, the current benefits program primarily targeted individual shareholders within Japan, leading to concerns about fairness in benefit distribution among all shareholders.

After careful consideration, the board concluded that the original purpose of enhancing understanding of the company's operations had diminished, necessitating the termination of the program. Under the new policy, shareholders holding more than 1,000 shares based on the December 31, 2025, record date will no longer receive benefits such as product gifts or charitable donations. As a result, the planned benefits distribution scheduled for December 31, 2026, will not proceed.

Nisshinbo Holdings emphasized its commitment to ongoing dialogue with stakeholders and stated that it will continue to strive towards sustainable societal contributions and enhanced corporate value.
