Nippon RAD 's Top Shareholder Is Advantech Co., Ltd. With 19.02% Stake

TOKYO, Jun 30 (Pulse News Wire) – Nippon RAD Inc. (4736.T) disclosed that Advantech Co., Ltd.

Holds a significant stake in the company, owning 19.02% of its shares as of March 31, 2026. Specifically, Advantech owns 16.10% directly and 2.92% through consolidated holdings. Advantech Co., Ltd., which operates in the development, manufacturing, and sales of industrial computers and peripheral devices, is recognized as Nippon RAD’s largest shareholder.

Despite this affiliation, Nippon RAD maintains operational independence, making independent decisions within its board and management meetings without interference from Advantech. One member of Nippon RAD’s board also serves as a director at Advantech. Regarding commercial transactions, Nippon RAD conducts regular business dealings with Advantech and its affiliated companies under normal trading conditions, primarily involving procurement of IoT products.
