The appointment is subject to approval at the company's 117th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for June 26, 2026. The candidate, Akira Shimizu, brings extensive experience in the logistics industry and a wealth of knowledge from his various leadership roles. He served as Executive Director and Branch Manager at Nikko Expressway Corporation until December 2024.
