Mizuho Leasing Company Issues Unsecured Bonds Totaling 1 Trillion

– Mizuho Leasing Company,limited (8425.T) announced the issuance of two unsecured ordinary bonds totaling ¥1 trillion. The first bond, designated as the 36th issue, carries a total amount of ¥500 billion with an annual interest rate of 1.5%.

It will mature on July 27, 2029, and payments will be made semiannually on January 29 and July 29. The second bond, the 37th issue, also amounts to ¥500 billion and features an annual interest rate of 1.7%, maturing on July 29, 2031, with similar payment schedules. Both bonds are unsubordinated and carry pari passu clauses among themselves but lack collateral or guarantees.

They will be subject to the Securities Transfer Act provisions except in cases outlined under Article 67, Paragraph 2 of the act. The bonds will be handled through several securities firms including Mizuho Securities, Nomura Securities, and SMBC Nikko Securities. Payments for both issues will be due on July 29, 2026, and the general public can participate in the subscription process beginning on the same day.

Financial management services will be provided by Mizuhoo Bank, which also acts as the issuing agent and paying agent for the bonds.
