Miyoshi Oil & Fat to Report Special Gain From Securities Sale

TOKYO, Jul 21 (Pulse News Wire) – Miyoshi Oil & Fat CO.,LTD. (4404.T) announced that it has decided to sell part of its investment securities holdings during July and August 2026 to improve capital efficiency and enhance corporate value.

The sale is expected to result in a special gain of approximately ¥541 million from the disposal of three listed securities. The company plans to recognize this special gain as ordinary profit in the third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026.

This anticipated gain was already included in the previously disclosed earnings forecast for the same period released on February 13, 2026. Should there be any changes requiring timely disclosure upon final determination of the gains, Miyoshi Oil & Fat will promptly inform stakeholders.
