Meiwa Industry APPOINTS NEW INDEPENDENT COMMITTEE MEMBER

TOKYO, Jun 25 (Pulse News Wire) – Meiwa Industry CO.,LTD. (7284.T) announced that Yoshikazu Haruaki, an external director, stepped down from his role as an independent committee member effective June 25, 2026, upon retiring as a director of the company.

In a meeting held on the same day, the board appointed Naoki Ogawa as the new independent committee member. Naoki Ogawa was born on December 4, 1984. He joined Shibuya Legal Office in December 2010 and became a registered lawyer there. From August 2016 to July 2017, he served as counsel for Entrust Energy, Inc.

In Texas, USA, and subsequently returned to Shibuya Legal Office in July 2017. Since January 2020, Ogawa has been a partner at Shibuya Legal Office and concurrently serves as an outside audit committee member for Nakamuraya Corporation since June 2023. Meiwa Industry has submitted Ogawa’s appointment to the Tokyo Stock Exchange in accordance with their regulations. There are no special interests between Ogawa and the company.
