Marvelous Appoints New Directors and Auditors for Upcoming Shareholders' Meeting

TOKYO, May 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Marvelous Inc. (7844.T) announced today that its board of directors has decided on the candidates for directors and auditors who will be proposed at the upcoming 29th ordinary shareholders’ meeting scheduled for June 2026.

Among the appointees, Shinshu Noguchi, Shingo Dota, Junichi Nakamura, Sei Ama, Shin Joon Oh, Sakura Koshii, Hideki Okamura, and Ryu Takahashi will serve as director candidates, while Masumi Hasegawa and Megumi Yasuda will join as auditor candidates. Dota, newly appointed as a director, brings extensive experience in the gaming industry. He joined Sega Corporation (now Sega) in April 1987 and held various leadership roles, including deputy head of the management department at AQ Interactive (now Marvelous Inc.).

Since joining Marvelous Inc., he has served as executive officer responsible for amusement operations since April 2021. Regarding the auditor appointments, Masumi Hasegawa joins as a regular auditor candidate, having previously worked as senior advisor at Corporate Headquarters and CFO at Z Mode Corporation. Megumi Yasuda, also a new auditor candidate, has significant experience in auditing and accounting, serving as managing partner of Yasuda Megumi Certified Public Accountant Office and external auditor for several companies.

The company also noted that retiring auditors Kazuo Satou and Masami Suzuki will conclude their terms upon the conclusion of the shareholders' meeting.
