Manabi-Aid Reports FY26 Loss but Sees Revenue Gains

– Manabi-aid CO.,LTD. (184A.T) reported a fiscal year 2026 lower operating profit of ¥171 million despite achieving revenue of ¥366 million.

While below initial forecasts, the company saw improvements compared to the previous period, with revenue increasing by 26.3% and the net loss narrowing by 42.2%. Key services such as "Study Aid Master" for small-to-medium learning centers experienced a decline, while "Study Aid Master for School," targeting larger institutions, showed growth due to strategic initiatives with ITTO Individual Tutoring Institute under the NOVA Holdings Group.

However, "Study Aid for Enterprise" faced a reduction in sales due to delays in recovering from losing a major contract. In cost management, Manabi-aid focused on optimizing resource allocation towards teaching staff recruitment and variable costs tied to revenue, alongside reducing executive compensation and refining marketing investments.

These efforts aimed to enhance operational efficiency and control costs effectively.
