Link-U Group 's Manga UP! Selected for Economic Ministry’s IP360 Program

TOKYO, Jun 26 (Pulse News Wire) – Link-U Group Inc. (4446.T) announced that its subsidiary, Link-U Technologies, was selected for the “Distribution Platform Expansion Support” category of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s IP360 program.

The initiative aims to accelerate the global expansion of manga intellectual property through the Manga UP! app, which collaborates with Square Enix. This selection supports the government’s goal to increase overseas sales of Japanese content to ¥20.00 trillion by 2033.

Manga UP!, launched in collaboration with Link-U Technologies and Square Enix, has already achieved over seven million downloads globally by April 2026. The project will leverage Link-U Technologies' data distribution and server platform expertise alongside high-quality content to enhance global content business growth. The impact on fiscal 2026 performance is expected to be minor, while longer-term benefits are anticipated for future fiscal years.
