TOKYO, Aug 03 (Pulse News Wire) – Kyorin Pharmaceutical CO.,LTD. (4569.T) announced the launch of promotional activities for its sustained-release eyelid cream, Alezion® Eye Lid Cream, effective August 17, 2026.

The promotion follows a joint sales agreement signed with Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. on July 13, 2026, aimed at increasing accessibility for patients suffering from allergic conjunctivitis.

Under the agreement, Santen will continue to handle manufacturing, distribution, and ophthalmology-focused promotions, while KYORIN will focus on promoting the product outside of ophthalmological settings. KYORIN's expertise in respiratory and otolaryngology sectors combined with Santen’s specialization in eye care is expected to enhance patient quality of life by providing a novel treatment option.

The company noted that any impact on fiscal 2027 consolidated earnings forecasts will be disclosed promptly should such circumstances arise.
