Kraftia Corp Sets Up Strategic Investment Fund to Boost Corporate Value

– Kraftia Corporation (1959.F) announced the establishment of a strategic investment fund named “Kraftia Succession Value Partners” through a resolution made at its board meeting held . The fund aims to enhance the long-term value of target companies through various strategic investments such as growth investments, corporate restructuring, carve-outs, and capital policy adjustments, while leveraging Kraftia’s expertise and network.

The fund will focus on sectors including electrical equipment construction, HVAC services, AI digital solutions, construction tech, green innovation, real estate development, and areas where synergies with Kraftia Group operations are expected. It plans to invest in companies with strong technical capabilities but facing challenges in executing sustainable growth strategies due to demographic shifts and technological changes. Kraftia expects the fund to facilitate collaboration opportunities and portfolio diversification, aiming to achieve sustained growth for both the fund's investors and Kraftia itself. The fund will adopt a capital call structure, committing to total contributions of ¥20.00 billion. Its operational term is set for ten years, with potential two-year extensions.

Kraftia’s initial investment commitment stands at approximately 99.9% of the total fund size. Scheduled for launch in September 2026, the fund will commence operations in October 2026. Additional limited partner recruitment is planned within a year post-establishment, which could alter Kraftia’s stake in the fund. Kraftia emphasized that the impact on its consolidated financial performance would be minor. Further updates will be disclosed as necessary.
