KOSE Holdings Launches Special Life Challenge Program for Voluntary Retirement

– Kose Holdings Corporation (4922.T) announced on August 6 that it has decided to implement a special voluntary retirement program called “Special Life Challenge” at its subsidiary Kose Corporation and its affiliate Kose Cosmetics Sales Co., Ltd. The program was approved during the board meeting held.

The initiative aims to accelerate future growth investments by optimizing cost structures, organizational frameworks, and personnel systems. Eligible employees who opt for early retirement will receive enhanced benefits, including additional lump-sum payments beyond regular severance packages. Additionally, the company will offer career support services for up to one year post-retirement to assist employees in transitioning to new opportunities outside the organization. Eligibility criteria include management and general staff aged 45 to 59 with five or more years of service, as well as re-employed staff aged 60 to 64.

The recruitment period runs from September 1 to September 15, 2026, with the anticipated retirement date set for October 31, 2026. Approximately 80 positions are available through this program. The costs associated with the increased lump-sum payments will be recorded as extraordinary losses in the fiscal year ending December 2026. The company plans to disclose the impact on earnings forecasts once the number of applicants and their breakdown becomes clear.
