KOEI Chemical Company Appoints New Non-Executive Director; Reappoints Three Audit Committee Members

TOKYO, May 13 (Pulse News Wire) – Koei Chemical Company,limited (4367.T) announced today that its board of directors meeting held, resolved to appoint Hiroyoshi Mukai as a non-executive director candidate effective from the regular shareholders' meeting scheduled for June 25, 2026. Additionally, three existing non-executive directors—Ken Takiguchi, Shin-go Yourou, and Yoshiko Hatta—are set to be reappointed at the same shareholders’ meeting.

The company also disclosed plans for several executive changes. Current non-executive directors Masao Shimizu and Ryoko Ueda are expected to step down upon the conclusion of the annual general meeting slated for June 25, 2026.

As of the planned organizational structure update on June 25, 2026, the board will consist of four executive directors excluding audit committee members, including President Kozo Sasaki, Eisuo Wada, Keiko Fukabori, and Hiroyoshi Mukai. Meanwhile, the audit committee will comprise four members, with Shouhiko Hamabe serving as a permanent member alongside Ken Takiguchi, Shin-go Yourou, and Yoshiko Hatta, who will continue their roles as external directors.
