Kamakura Shinsho Transfers Shares to Holding Company
TOKYO, Jul 21 (Pulse News Wire) – Kamakura Shinsho,ltd. (6184.T) reported that Chairman and CEO Yoshihiro Kitamura transferred part of his shares to Kamakura Holdings Co., Ltd., which he established.
The transfer involves 10,583,944 shares, representing more than 10% of total voting rights, effective July 29, 2026. As a result, Kamakura Holdings will become a significant shareholder and related party of Kamakura Shinsho. Prior to the transaction, Kitamura held 11,383,944 shares, making him the largest shareholder. Following the transfer, Kamakura Holdings will hold 13,783,944 shares, becoming the top shareholder with over 10% voting rights. Kitamura's stake will drop to ninth place with fewer shares. Kamakura Holdings, based in Tokyo, Chiyoda Ku Ichibanchou, was founded in 2003 and manages assets.
It currently holds 3,200,000 shares, ranking third among shareholders. Its capital is ¥3 million. The company’s major shareholders include Yoshihiro Kitamura with 60%, Yuki Kitamura with 15%, Keitaro Kitamura with 15%, and Kanako Kitamura with 10%. The transfer does not affect Kamakura Shinsho's management structure or operations. Kamakura Holdings plans to maintain a long-term stable holding strategy, aligning with previous policies. Kitamura retains control over the majority of Kamakura Holdings' shares, ensuring continuity in decision-making processes.
