Jelly Beans Group Adjusts Start Date for Recycling Plant

– Jelly Beans Group CO.,LTD. (3070.T) announced adjustments to the startup schedule for its recycling plant in Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture.

Originally set for July 2026, the launch date was revised to mid-August due to minor additional rectification work needed during final fire inspections. In a previous notice dated April 2, 2026, the company outlined plans to establish a Special Purpose Company (SPC) aimed at converting waste oil and plastics into recycled heavy oil through the “Urban Oilfield Business.” The firm stated that ongoing cooperation with local authorities ensures completion of supplementary works necessary for the facility’s operation. Following the completion of additional construction, the company anticipates commencing operations at the Tatsuno Recycled Heavy Oil Refinery sometime between August 15 and August 31, 2026.

Recent geopolitical shifts in the Middle East have increased demand for generators fueled by recycled oils, prompting the group to expedite necessary procedures for early operational readiness. The adjustment is expected to have minimal impact on the group's fiscal year ending January 2027 performance. Jelly Beans Group remains committed to providing timely updates on further developments related to this project.
