J-Lease to Reduce Capital Reserve on June 26
TOKYO, May 19 (Pulse News Wire) – J-lease CO.,LTD. (7187.T) resolved today to reduce its capital reserve amount at its upcoming annual shareholders' meeting scheduled for June 26, 2026.
The reduction aims to ensure flexibility and agility in future capital policies. According to Article 448, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act, the company plans to decrease the capital reserve amount of ¥295.2 million to ¥295.2 million (the entire amount). This move will involve transferring the reduced amount entirely to other capital surplus reserves without altering the total number of outstanding shares or net assets per share.
The resolution was made during a board meeting held. Shareholders will vote on the proposal at the general meeting on June 26, 2026. Any objections from creditors must be filed by September 23, 2026, with the effective date set for September 30, 2026.
This adjustment will merely reallocate funds within the equity section of the balance sheet and will not impact the company's overall net asset value or performance.
