J Frontier Launches Disaster Medical Solution Business

TOKYO, Apr 22 (Pulse News Wire) – J Frontier Co.,Ltd. (2934.T) officially launched its disaster medical solution business aimed at municipalities during today's management meeting.

As part of this initiative, the company’s service “SOKUYAKU” received the top award at the 2026 Japan Resilience Award hosted by the Resilience Japan Promotion Council, which is recognized by the Cabinet Office's Basic Plan for National Resilience Enhancement. The new business integrates three key components: promoting online healthcare services and prescription drug delivery in collaboration with local governments; participating in large-scale disaster drills; and establishing emergency medical support systems for disasters. Leveraging its existing network of over 1,000 hospitals and 19,000 pharmacies, J Frontier aims to enhance resilience without requiring additional municipal investments.

The company plans to begin operations in May 2026. Looking ahead, J Frontier expects significant contributions to consolidated revenue and profits starting from the fiscal year ending May 2027.
