Ishizuka Glass to Sell Idle Land Assets for Estimated Gain

TOKYO, Jul 01 (Pulse News Wire) – Ishizuka Glass CO.,LTD. (5204.NG) decided to sell idle land assets to enhance asset efficiency and strengthen its financial position.

The sale involves land and buildings located in Fukuoka City's Higashi-Hakata district, with an estimated gain of ¥294 million from the transaction expected to be recorded in the fiscal year ending March 2027. The company plans to complete the handover and settlement in August 2026. The proceeds from the sale amount to ¥411 million.

As of now, there are no changes to the previously disclosed earnings forecast released on April 23, 2026. Any necessary adjustments will be communicated promptly. The move aligns with Ishizuka Glass’s strategy to optimize its asset portfolio and reduce interest-bearing debt.

The anticipated special profit from this transaction will be reflected in the interim results for the fiscal year ending September 2026.
