Industrial & Infrastructure Fund Investment Corp Increases Borrowing Amid Property Acquisitions
TOKYO, Apr 22 (Pulse News Wire) – Industrial & Infrastructure Fund Investment Corporation (3249.T) announced today that it has decided to increase its borrowing to replenish cash reserves reduced due to property acquisitions in March and April 2026. The new loan will amount to 3,400 million yen with Mizuho Trust Bank Co., Ltd.
At a variable interest rate based on the average of the overnight unsecured Shibor rate for one month, effective from April 27, 2026, until March 31, 2027, with repayment scheduled in a lump sum on the maturity date. Following the execution of this new borrowing, the corporation's total borrowings will rise to 282,433 million yen, up by 3,400 million yen compared to pre-execution levels.
Specifically, short-term borrowings will increase to 16,300 million yen from 12,900 million yen, while long-term borrowings remain unchanged at 266,133 million yen. There was also no significant change in investment risks related to this borrowing, as detailed in the 36th Period Securities Report submitted on October 23, 2025.
