Ichiken Appoints New Directors and Executive Officers; Formal Approval Expected June 25
TOKYO, May 18 (Pulse News Wire) – Ichiken CO.,LTD. (1847.T) announced today that its board of directors resolved to appoint new members to the board of directors and executive positions.
Final approval for these appointments is expected at the 100th regular shareholders' meeting scheduled for June 25, followed by the post-meeting board session. In the upcoming changes, Junao Yoshida, currently serving as head of the Business Planning Department at Maruhan Group Unit, will join Ichiken as a director and advisor effective June 1. After his appointment, he will oversee corporate policy.
Additionally, Mitsuharu Okadaya, currently serving as legal department head at Maruhan Group Unit, will also be appointed as an outside director. Regarding executive officer appointments, Shigeru Shibuya, who previously held the position of deputy branch manager at the Shinjuku Branch, will now serve as an executive officer. Similarly, Kansai Branch Deputy Manager Yoshihiro Shibuya will also take up an executive role.
