Harima Chemicals Group TO APPOINT NEW CEO; BOARD CHANGES APPROVED AT UPCOMING SHAREHOLDER MEETING

TOKYO, Apr 30 (Pulse News Wire) – Harima Chemicals Group,inc. (4410.T) announced today that it plans to appoint Ichiro Tanaka as its new president effective June 26, following approval at the upcoming annual shareholder meeting scheduled for June 26.

The changes also involve promotions and reassignments within the board and executive ranks. Tanaka, born on March 12, 1968, currently serves as the head of the Research and Development Company and holds 47,951 shares. He joined the company in April 1993 and has held various leadership positions, including roles in development, management planning, IT systems, auditing, and corporate governance.
