Geomatec Adjusts Tax Assets, Reports Higher-than-Expected Profits
TOKYO, May 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Geomatec CO.,LTD. (6907.T) reported higher-than-expected profits for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, compared to its previous forecast released on November 7, 2025.
The company also adjusted its deferred tax assets based on revised forecasts. In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, GEOMATEC's revenue exceeded expectations, reaching ¥6.008 billion, up from the previously estimated ¥5.100 billion. Operating profit was ¥341 million, surpassing the projected ¥300 million.
Ordinary profit stood at ¥429 million, while net profit reached ¥638 million, marking significant increases of 17.8%, 13.7%, 22.7%, and 93.6%, respectively. The improved performance was attributed to stronger-than-anticipated orders for semiconductors and electronic components, along with cost reduction efforts. Additionally, adjustments related to the reassessment of deferred tax asset recoverability contributed to the increased net profit.
