Gamecard Holdings Sees Major Shareholder Change
TOKYO, May 21 (Pulse News Wire) – Gamecard Holdings,inc. (6249.T) reported a significant shift in its major shareholder structure effective May 14.
According to documents filed with the Kanto Finance Bureau on May 21, SanKyo Corporation now holds the top position among shareholders. SanKyo Corporation, based in Tokyo, Shibuya Ku 3-29-14, is led by President Minoru Kurahara and specializes in gaming machine manufacturing and sales. It has a capital of ¥14.84 billion. Following the change, SanKyo's shareholding increased to 1,628,100 shares, securing the first place among major shareholders.
Prior to the change, SanKyo held 14,016 shares, representing 9.99% percent of total outstanding voting rights, placing it in the first position as of March 31, 2026. Post-change, their stake rose to 11.61% shares, maintaining the top spot. The company noted that the percentage of voting rights relative to total shareholders was calculated based on the shareholder registry as of March 31, 2026, after deducting treasury shares amounting to 654,623 from the total number of voting rights of shareholders and others, which stood at 140,183 shares. The figures were rounded down to the nearest whole number.
