G-Next Abolishes Shareholder Benefits Program Effective March 2026
TOKYO, Jul 29 (Pulse News Wire) – G-NEXT Inc. (4179.T) announced on July 29 that its board of directors had resolved to abolish the shareholder benefits program effective immediately.
The decision was made to focus resources on growth investments and strengthen the company's financial foundation, aiming for profitability and subsequent dividend payments to all shareholders. The company cited its medium-term management plan, which prioritizes achieving profitability through strengthened revenue bases and initiating dividends to return value to shareholders. By centralizing cash dividends based on shareholding quantity, the company seeks to ensure fair returns to all investors, including institutional and foreign investors.
The move is intended to align with the interests of all shareholders. The last rights determination date for the existing shareholder benefit program was set for March 31, 2026. No further benefits will be granted beyond this date, including those scheduled for the fiscal year ending March 2027 and onwards.
G-NEXT plans to achieve sustained profitability and initiate dividend payouts once black ink is consistently achieved.
