Fuji Die Forms Business Alliance With Daijet Industrial Co., Ltd.

– Fuji Die CO.,LTD. (6167.T) announced today that it has entered into a business alliance with Daijet Industrial Co., Ltd.

To promote the development and sales of alloys that reduce the use of tungsten and cobalt. The agreement was approved during a board meeting held on June 24, 2026 and finalized on June 26, 2026. The primary goal of this collaboration is to enhance the recognition of their respective products, such as Fuji Die's "Susteroi STN30" and Daijet Industrial's "Sametal," as alternative materials to traditional superhard alloys. Both companies aim to leverage their distribution networks to expand market reach and mitigate geopolitical risks associated with the supply of key minerals like tungsten and cobalt. Under the initial phase of the partnership, Daijet Industrial will supply Fuji Die with its "Sametal" alloy, which Fuji Die will either sell as raw material or process into tools and molds for customers.

Additionally, Fuji Die plans to explore opportunities to utilize Daijet Industrial’s network for promoting its own "Susteroi" series of alloys. Daijet Industrial, founded in December 1950 and renamed in 1954, has a capital of ¥3 billion. It specializes in manufacturing and selling superhard alloys and tools. The company reported consolidated net assets of ¥1,234 billion, ¥1,345 billion, and ¥1,456 billion for fiscal years ending March 2024, March 2025, and March 2026, respectively. The alliance began operations on June 26, 2026, aligning with Fuji Die's strategy to address industry challenges posed by geopolitical risks and fluctuating mineral supplies.

The impact on Fuji Die's performance for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is expected to be minor, but the company will promptly disclose any significant developments related to this initiative.
