Fronteo Secures Loans to Accelerate Life Sciences AI Business Growth

TOKYO, Jul 24 (Pulse News Wire) – FRONTEO,Inc. (2158.T) has entered into three loan agreements aimed at accelerating growth in its life sciences AI business, particularly in drug discovery.

The loans, totaling up to ¥420 million and ¥500 million from Mitsubishi UFJ Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation respectively, along with a securities lending agreement worth ¥300 million from Resona Bank, will support research and development investments, talent acquisition, and operational funding needs. The contracts, which do not require collateral or financial covenants, span various durations, ranging from July 31, 2026, to July 31, 2027 and July 24, 2026, to July 30, 2027.

Additionally, the securities lending agreement will be executed on July 28, 2026, with a term ending on July 28, 2031. These financing arrangements aim to bolster FRONTEO's financial stability while enhancing the agility and security of investment in its core life sciences AI sector, driving sustainable expansion and value creation.
