TOKYO, May 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Foodison,inc. (7114.T) announced today that its board of directors held on May 15 decided to propose the appointment of candidates for director and auditor positions at the upcoming 13th regular shareholders meeting scheduled for June 25, 2026.
The proposed directors include incumbent representatives such as CEO Tetsu Yamamoto, CFO Naoki Naito, and external directors Eimei Fukumoto and Haruna Nonomiya, who will continue their roles. Additionally, Takefumi Okura, previously the CEO of Eternal Hospitality Group and chairman of Makoto Foods Service, among others, will join as a new external director.
Okura's extensive experience in corporate management and deep industry knowledge make him well-suited to contribute to Foodison’s operations and oversee the execution of duties from an independent position. Meanwhile, external director Katsumi Tamura is set to retire upon the conclusion of the shareholders meeting due to the expiration of his term.
For auditors, the company plans to reappoint existing members Tomoya Ikeda, Kohei Nakagawa, and Shin ya Watanabe, who will retain their positions.
