Daikoku Denki Posts Mixed Q1 Results Amid New Product Sales Gains and Segment Losses
TOKYO, Aug 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Daikoku Denki CO.,LTD. (6430.T) reported mixed results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
Revenue reached ¥10.49 billion, down 15.2% year-over-year, while operating profit declined to ¥2.83 billion, marking a 14.4% decrease. Information Systems saw strong sales of new products but faced challenges with card units, leading to a revenue drop. Amusement and Other segments showed modest gains and losses respectively. Total assets decreased by ¥1.1 billion to ¥58.1 billion due to reduced receivables and securities.
Liabilities fell by ¥1.7 billion to ¥7.8 billion, primarily driven by tax payments. Shareholders’ equity increased by ¥600 million to ¥50.2 billion, boosting the capital adequacy ratio to 84.6%, up 2.6 percentage points from the previous year. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, Daikoku Denki maintains its forecast with unchanged expectations for revenues of ¥104.9 billion and operating profit of ¥4.5 billion. The company plans to continue monitoring market conditions and adjusting forecasts accordingly.
